Privacy Policy
How Opulus collects, uses, and protects your personal data.
Last updated: 8 May 2026
1. Who we are
Opulus is an IT consultancy based in Thessaloniki, Greece. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website (opulus.gr) or engage with us as a client. For any privacy-related question you can reach us at hello@opulus.gr.
2. Information we collect
We collect: (a) information you provide directly via our contact form (name, email, phone, the service you're interested in, and the content of your message); (b) basic technical information your browser sends automatically (IP address, user agent, referrer, pages viewed); and (c) information stored in cookies, where applicable.
3. How we use your information
We use your data to respond to your inquiry, to deliver and support the services we have agreed on with you, to improve our website and services, to comply with legal obligations, and — only with your separate consent — to send you marketing communications. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies for site functionality and, where you consent, for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings or, where shown, through our consent banner. Disabling cookies may affect parts of the site.
5. Data sharing
We share personal data only with trusted processors that help us run our business (for example, email and hosting providers), and only to the extent necessary. All such providers are bound by appropriate data processing agreements. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by applicable law (for example, accounting and tax obligations). Inquiries that do not lead to a contractual relationship are deleted within a reasonable period.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, as well as to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@opulus.gr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege principles. No system is completely secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date noted at the top.
